oh my goodness, today we went past heal’s in tottenham court road and lo, the orla kiely collection has landed. it was pretty amazing to see a row of three easy chairs all upholstered in different vibrant prints, plus incredible mid-century style cabinets with the trademark leaf motif. the furniture is pretty eye-wateringly expensive but seemed wonderfully well-made (well, it *is* heal’s) — however, i think i might just have to settle for some bed linen.
